We really need email and/or SMS notification. Something outside of push notifications to the app.

Send a voice call via an API provider like Vonage - there is nothing like a vibrating and loud phone call at 3:00 in the morning to cut through the 'noise' of emails/SMS etc on a phone - allow this method to be added for a subset of the alarms e.g. may not want this 'drastic' notification to be used on all alarms - should be up to the user to determine. The Vonage API allows for text to speech and this should include enough information for the voice call to be sufficient for the recipient to determine how serious the event is and from what system (assume multi-device system) is generating the alert. Include a 'test alarm' feature so that the integration with the API provider can be easily tested by a user, without having to force one by modifying the actual grow environment.
